Saint Basile le Grand Vacations from $657

Good experience, nice rooms, right in the heart of Old Montreal.

The room was clean, the amenities were good, The staff were not easy to converse with. The staff couldn't help us with directions or recommendations in the area in the proximity of the hotel. There were two bedrooms, a "master" and a second bedroom. The master room was large and had a double bed in it. The second bedroom was considerably smaller but had a queen size bed. The bed in the second bedroom was tight against the wall. The duvets were too large and too heavy for both sets of guests but the hotel couldn't supply us with regular blankets.

Les fenêtres coulissantes donnant sur la rue étaient brisées et ne se fermaient pas adéquatement, ce qui entraînait donc beaucoup de bruit dans la chambre. De plus, la salle de bain ne semblait pas particulièrement bien entretenu.

The layout was very nice and it was in a very walkable area. However, the property wasn't secure. The door was left unlocked and that was a little unsettling. The place was spacious and fit me and my family very well. However, I'd read on previous ratings that the owner doesn't answer. The owner didn't answer any of my messages prior to the trip or during. I thought that was odd. For example, it would've been helpful to know what we do with the towels when leaving or if we were required to strip the beds. Also please have someone fix the door lock, it's a little loose and janky. Other than that it was a good place

The apartment felt elegant and thoughtfully prepared, with plenty of room to relax and everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was spotless, filled with natural light, and generously equipped. Its central location made it easy to enjoy nearby restaurants, cafés, and attractions. The only drawback was occasional street noise from delivery vehicles, especially at busier times, but overall it was a lovely place to stay.
